POTICONTISMO Reinforced Compound

POTICON is a series of compounds using Otsuka Chemical’s ultrafine potassium titanate fiber, TISMO

The compounds are used in a wide variety of applications including micro reinforcement applications such as LED reflectors and camera modules as well as demanding automotive friction and sliding parts. Otsuka Chemical offers numerous grades of the material to provide different benefits to satisfy our thermoplastic customers’ needs.

What's "POTICON"

The Poticon series features a potassium titanate micro-filler compounded in thermoplastic resins to provide outstanding micro-reinforcement and dimensional stability. The excellent surface smoothness of these compounds limits friction toward opposing materials, reducing wear and allowing for greaseless applications. Moreover, as Poticon diminishes damage toward the mold and metal die and offers excellent recyclability, it also decreases processing costs.
