Block Co-polymer Type for Pigment Dispersant

The pigment is used as colorant with various fields such as paint and ink. Depends on its purpose, medium is various from water to solvent. Besides recent needs of high function, pigment itself has various properties that required being able to use those pigments in medium as stability dispersing element.

The new block polymer type pigment dispersant developed by new living radical polymerization method (TERP method), by controlling the absorptivity and stability, stabilize organic and inorganic pigment offering solution to materialize the product with higher quality.

This is the test result of decreased quantity of pigment dispersant proportional toward carbon black (pigment) on the purpose of evaluating dispersion performance. Because it is designed to fit to pigment, the particle size does not increase even quantity of additive decreased, and keeps dispersion state in stable. Likewise, viscosity does not increase by cohesion either.
