Otsuka Chemical took part in the International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries, China, 2013

Otsuka Chemical took part in Chinaplas 2013, the 27th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries, which was held from May 20 to 24, 2013 at the China Import & Export Fair Complex, Pazhou, Guanzhou, China. In line with the growing Chinese market, some 115,000 people visited the event.
Otsuka Chemical Co., Ltd., introduced its resin compound POTICON in China in 2006 through Zhang Jia Gang. Since then, sales have increased. Otsuka Chemical first exhibited POTICON at Chinaplas 2011. Chinaplas has been a major driver of POTICON recognition and sales in China. (Otsuka Chemical Co. was supported at the event by Gien Trading Co. Ltd., Zhejiang, China.)

Using information panels and video at our Chinaplas booth, we introduced the major features of POTICON, such as microscopic reinforcement and enhanced sliding ability, and reflector materials used in LEDs, which have attracted a lot of interest for their low power consumption. We also exhibited various molded components using POTICON. In addition, non-halogen flame retardant Phosphazene and the anti-odor agent for aldehyde, CHEMCATCH, were introduced through information panels. We discussed our products with a wide range of clientele and had meetings with some 115 new companies.
